Canvas Studio Videos
- Here’s how you do it
- Click on Studio
- Click on record button
- Record (30 seconds)
- Upload
- Request captions, edit captions
- Place it in the course on a page if you don’t need to add a quiz
- Explain where these videos can go in the course (announcements, module overview, assignment explanation
Sample Studio Video:

- Add a quiz to the video we just recorded
- Three dots on video in Studio Dashboard
- “Create Quiz”
- Add Title
- “Hide Question Markers”
- “Get Started”
- Play video and click “+” to add a question at the time stamp.
- Choose between T/F, MC, and Multiple Answer
- Add question, choose correct answer, add feedback, “Save”
- Create Video Quiz assignment in Canvas
- Click “Assignments,” “+ Assignment,” “External Tool,” “Canvas Studio,” choose quiz Links to an external site.
- Student scores will sync with the Grades
