Add a Link in the Rich Content Editor

To be accessible, links need to have human readable text that describes the page they will go to if they click the link.

For example, this link is inaccessible because it is the URL of the page:
http://www.cuyamaca.edu/ Links to an external site.

This example is also inaccessible, because "Click Here" does not describe the page they will go to:
Click here Links to an external site. to go to Cuyamaca College.

To make it accessible, use text instead of of the URL for the link:
Cuyamaca College Links to an external site.

To make a link:

1. copy the URL of the page you want to link to
2. in the RCE type the text for the link
3. highlight the text you want to make into a link
4. click on the Link button from the toolbar
5. paste the URL in the box
6. click Insert Link
