How to get Canvas help
The following are resources available to instructors who need assistance. Amber Toland Perry (Instructional Designer) and Bri Brown Links to an external site. (Distance Ed Coordinator) are usually your first point of contact and we can help with Canvas and other technologies or point you to local mentors. But, sometimes we are not available because we are helping others, out of the office, etc. and you need immediate Canvas-specific help.
Did you know that Instructure Canvas provides a 24/7 Helpdesk available for instructors, admins, and students?
Follow the below instructions to get help from Instructure:

- On the blue left-side menu click on the Help button
- Select Contact Canvas Support
- You will be taken to our local Canvas Help page
- On this page, you will two important links - Canvas Help for Faculty and the Canvas Support phone number. You can call Canvas Support directly, or if you prefer Chat, click on the Canvas Help for Faculty link to be taken to the Instructure Canvas Support Homepage
- On their support homepage, click on the Canvas Support button, then click on Yes Contact Support to see the following screen:

- On the blue left-side menu click on the Help button

- Click on Chat, fill in the form, click on Start Chatting, and a new chat window will open and connect you to a support representative. If there is a queue, you will see your place in line. It's that easy!
