📑 Module 3 Overview

In Module 3, we take our first exam and then jump into probability... the topic that is general the most challenging for students.

On Saturday of the exam, all the old material will CLOSE for good, so that I'm not endlessly grading and to ensure students have prepared before the exam. So look back at those items from Modules 1 and 2 to make sure they are all done:

By Wednesday

1. Watch the Review Video. Links to an external site.
2. Check out the review materials and old paper/pencil exams from previous semesters in the 👩‍🏫 Exam 1 Material area.
3. Test your understanding with the optional OPTIONAL ✔️: Knowledge Check #5 Note: The knowledge checks on exam sections will always be optional, but are a good way to check your understanding and make up a missed knowledge check!
4. If you want a fun art project, do the OPTIONAL 💻: Dear Data, A Project
5. Take the 💯 Sample Exam 1 to get a feel for the difference between my in-person and online exams (not much).
6. Take 💯Exam 1 - I strongly suggest completing this before noon on Thursday in case something goes wrong!

By Friday

1. Watch the videos for Part 4 or move through the 3 short practice quizzes on the next pages.

2. Do this excellent 💻 Skew the Script Desmos activity to make more connections between those formulas and our Venn diagrams / contingency tables.
3. Test your understanding with ✔️ Knowledge Check #6
4. Practice Exam 2's warm and fuzzy question - the tree diagram - along with the two other displays and all four probability types with 💻 Probability Displays Worksheet

By Sunday

1. Finish up the week with 💬 Research Ideas
2. And consider giving me some feedback and insight with 🖤 Module #3 Debrief (Optional) 

As a reminder, the knowledge checks ✔️ close on Sunday at 11:59pm. You cannot submit them late. The discussion board 💬 has points associated with timeliness... so those should be your priorities!
