  • WARNING: Multiple choice answers will be shuffled with each new attempt. However the questions will remain the same and are presented in the same order with each new attempt.
  • If there are essay questions, you will have to type (or retype) your responses to the essay questions with each new attempt. Also, you will not know whether your essay responses are correct until all attempts are submitted and I grade the exams.
  • Please silence your cell phone.
  • Please place your cell phone and any other non-essential electronic devices (ear buds, watch, etc.) in a closed purse or backpack etc., and then store that purse or backpack away from you.
  • The exam proctor will provide the scratch paper and any the cheat sheets. Please write your name on each page of the scratch paper/cheat sheets.
  • Please clear your desk of any belongings except the scratch paper, a calculator, a writing utensil, and/or an eraser.
  • You are allowed to use a TI-84 graphing calculator on the exam. However, you must allow the proctor to clear all RAM on the calculator. Here are the steps.

    Press the 2nd button
    Press the + sign
    Select Reset
    Select ALL RAM
    Scroll down to number 2 and STOP (The proctor will push the last button.)

  • To accommodate any technical difficulties you may take the exam up to three times, but any given attempt must be submitted before the exam ends. The exam proctor will not reset the exam for any reason, so please do not ask. Of course, if you do not have any technological difficulties, you can still use all three attempts.
  • You must work alone on this exam with no help from any other sources.
  • After you begin the exam, do not open any other window on your computer.
  • If you would like to review your results for any given attempt, you must do so BEFORE starting a new attempt or closing your browser. After you begin a new attempt or close your browser, you will no longer be able to view your responses and learn which answers are correct/incorrect.
  • To begin the exam, log into Canvas. Select Modules. Click on the Exam Module, and open the final exam. Click Start Quiz. The exam proctor will enter the password for you; please look away until the proctor finishes entering the password.
  • At the end of the exam, please shut down the computer and then submit your scratch paper/cheat sheets to the exam proctor.
