Overview of Week 11

Welcome, Class, to our first week in our virtual classroom, but our 11th week of English 120+020! 

This week, you will be introduced to the genre of creative nonfiction, which is more like true storytelling than academic writing; however, they do have some skills in common, as you will learn.

At the same time, you may begin revising Writing Project #1, as you have received plenty of feedback from Manny and/or me to do so.  Later this week, I will post some resources to help you with the revision.

For now, focus on the week ahead, which we aim to make an enjoyable experience for you! 

By the end of this module, you will be able to:

1. critically read, summarize, and analyze the moves authors of creative nonfiction make to develop their ideas and experiences to affect their audience.

2. understand the value of writing with regards to the human experience;

3. participate in a dynamic discussion forum.
