SOLO BEATLE RECORDINGS
Listen to these recordings of all four Beatles after the breakup (no journal).
1. Real Love - this song is particularly interesting, in that John was working on this song in 1979-1980. He recorded a few demos with a handheld recorder at his piano. As we know, he was killed in 1980. Fifteen years later, the other 3 Beatles took that tape and mixed it in with their own playing.

2. Watching The Wheels - John basically retired for 5 years, from 1975-1980. This song basically addresses those people who wondered what was going on.

This short clip is priceless. It has George's reaction to watching a tape of the younger Beatles:

8. Photograph - Another #1. Ringo was an avid photographer. One critic called it "among the very best post-Beatles songs by any of the Fab Four." The lyrics are a reflection on lost love, whereby a photograph is the only reminder of the singer's shared past.
