  • Apply proper laboratory (photographic) practices necessary for making, presenting and discussing photographic images of considered conceptual and aesthetic execution as well as optimum technical quality, craft and professional standards.

 

To successfully complete this quiz and achieve the objectives of the module, it will important to review and understand the following before attempting the quiz, including:

  • Ability to identify and discuss the Types of Cameras, including Compact, Single-Lens Reflex (SLR), Rangefinder, Medium- and Large-Format.
  • Ability to identify and discuss Image Capture Sizes, including for Film and Sensor, and Aspect Ratio.
  • Ability to identity and discuss the Digital Photographic File Formats, including RAW, JPEG and TIFF.
  • Ability to identify and discuss Color Temperature and White Balance.
  • Ability to identify and discuss The Shutter and Shutter Speed Scale and The Aperture and Aperture Scale.
  • Ability to identify and discuss Depth of Field.
  • Ability to identify and discuss Selection of ISO/ASA Setting and what is involved in Determining Exposure.

The Quiz is a combination of short answer and multiple-choice questions.

There are a total of 10 questions.

The correct answers will be available to review after you've completed your final and/or second attempt.

The highest score achieved will be recorded as the grade for the quiz.

 

 

Completion of Quiz and Late Work Policy

It is expected that all assignments are executed and turned-in for evaluation on the assigned date.

In consideration of extenuating circumstances (i.e. extreme emergency situations, including illness, personal/family care and bereavement matters), assignment due dates and/or other arrangements can be made provided there has been timely communication with the instructor before the assignment due date.

 

NOTE: Assignments completed late after the assigned evaluation date will be evaluated with a 10% reduction for each day the assignment is late.

NOTE: Any missing assignment will automatically be evaluated as not completed, resulting in no points earned.
