Instructions

On this assignment, you will use Descriptive Statistics to make observations using your data from "Revisiting our Data Collection on Statcrunch".  This assignment will take several days to work on as each question requires a thoughtful explanation.  This assignment should also be your own work, any work that is AI generated will receive a grade of a zero.  You must use Statcrunch for your graphs, tables and summary statistics AND you must embed your statcrunch output in your responses.

This StatCrunch assignment is under the 20% category of your grade and is DUE on THURSDAY, Oct 9th.  A late penalty of 10 points will be deducted for each day it is late with a final late grace period of Oct 14th.  After this a grade of a zero will be assigned.

By choosing quantitative variables, you will create histograms and describe the characteristics of your data such as shape, center, spread and outliers.  By creating a scatterplot, you will see if your quantitative variables have a linear correlation.  You will then continue to explore your data by creating a boxplot and providing the 5-number summary.  You may also include other graphs like pie charts and dotplots to explore your data.

You have one attempt at this assignment.  This means that once I grade it, you may not resubmit for a higher grade.  The only reason you see multiple attempts is because this assignment will take you multiple days to complete.  You may have to come back to your assignment on different days to complete.  If Canvas does not save the work for you then be prepared to redo it.  For this reason, I strongly suggest that you SAVE YOUR WORK OUTSIDE OF CANVAS in case Canvas does not save your work.   You will be using what you learned from all of your previous quizzes, checkpoints, and statcrunch lab discussions, which revealed the correct answer after your submission.

Only registered, enrolled users can take graded quizzes
