How to Verify Students have Watched Videos

As an instructor, you may have recorded lectures that you assign to students for viewing. There are a couple options you can use to verify whether or not the students have completed the task:

• If the lecture is linked or embedded on a page, the instructor can see how many students interacted with that page by looking at the course analytics for that course. • If the instructor recorded an asynchronous video with Canvas Studio, the instructor can see how many students saw the video (and how long they watched) by clicking on the “Insights” tab under an individual video.
