Our Cyber Station 

This advanced, short-term reading, writing, and critical reasoning course is 100% online, but it is not 100% self-paced; two modules will be available at a time so that you can move through carefully constructed units that will help you to methodically build skills for maximum success. Canvas will be used to access lesson modules, assignments, quizzes, grades, and to communicate with each other and submit essays. It is designed to be a centralized place for everything you need for this class.

Please remember that I am your English professor and not your Canvas professor; unfortunately, I am not helpful with most technological issues related to Canvas and/or your individual computer. If you need this type of help, start with the Student Guide and/or if you need additional help, call this 24/7 Canvas support line: 1-844-600-4953. They are wonderfully helpful!

Announcements

Be sure to read all Announcements. I will typically send one out at the beginning of each week/module. In addition, if I want to provide tips on an assignment, make a change to an assignment or deadline, or if I notice a trend in questions and/or behaviors, I will also make an announcement. Sometimes I will even send an announcement to remind you to read the announcements!
