Taking Tables to Other Formats
When you save your word table into PDF or HTML, you will also have the option to provide a Caption for the table. The table Caption can provide additional information about the purpose or content contained with the table.
Table Caption
The table Caption is an HTML element that embeds the Caption text immediately before the table. While it is called a caption, most people agree that it functions more like a title for the table. There are issues with how the Caption element is rendered in some browsers that irk graphic designers and web developers, so it is not commonly used.
